Upanishad Mantram - 11.
"Susupta-sthanah prajno makaras-tritiya matra
miter-apiter-va minoti ha va
idam sarvam apitis-ca bhavati
ya evam veda."

Translation :
Susupta-sthanah = deep state of sleep experience;
prajnah = prajna
makaras-tritiya matra = 'M' Iis the third letter;
miter = being a measurement of;
va apiteh = or the state of dissolution;
minoti ha va = he knows this identity indeed;
idam sarvam = all this;
apitih = being the cause of the world;
ca bhavati = and becomes;
yah = the one who;
evam = thus;
veda = meditates, knows.

Tatvam (Essence) of the mantram :
Prajna, whose sphere of activity is the deep-sleep state, is M third letter of Aum, because, it is the both .'measure' and also that wherein all become one. One who knows this identity of prajna and M is able to know the real nature of the things and beings, and also come to realise as being the Self of all.
