MANTRAM-3.{ "Foremost means of Self-realisation seeking the Self alone." }
Discussion-1. "No panditha should think that because he can give elaborate and learned discourse........"
If realisation of the Self is the end of all desiring and thraldom of birth and death, naturally, the student of scriptures would be anxious to know how this state n can be attained.
The first instinct would surely be to reach the Truth through study.
Here the Rishi-s are negating all those paths which ordinarily our intellect, with its instincts, would suggest to us.
Thus, the mantram says that "no pandita should think that because he can give an elaborate and learned discourse upon the 'ATMA TATTVAM,' he can realise or has realised the Supreme."
