MUNDAKOPANISHAD : CHAPTER-3. SECTION-2. Mantram-10. { Instructions on transfer of this Supreme Wisdom}.

MUNDAKOPANISHAD
    CHAPTER-3.
    SECTION-2.
Mantram-10. { Instructions  on  transfer  of  this  Supreme  Wisdom}.

Discussion-9. Qualification-3. "Who  pursue  the  meditation  on  Brahmam"  ( 'brahma-nishtah' next term ( last ) in the second line of  this  Mantram )

The  word  used  here  is  "Brahma-nishtah."

Because  here  we  are  having  a  description  of  the  qualities  necessary  in  a  seeker,  we  must  understand  this  term  not  as   one  established  in  the  "Awareness  of  Brahmam"  but  as  "one  who  is  meditating  upon  that  goal  of  life  pointed  out  by  the  Sruti-literature."

In  short,  a  seeker  should  spend  all  his  leisure-time  in  reflecting  upon  the  one  great  Truth  discussed  in  all  the  immortal  "Upanishadik  declarations."

This  alone  is  what  is  meant  by  the  term  "Brahma-nishtah"  here

Next : Discussion-10. ( Qualification-4. "Who  possess  faith" : ( 'Sraddha-yantah'   last term   third  line  of  this  Mantram. )  and 5. "Who  offer  oblations  himself" :  ( 'Svayam  juhvate'    first  two  terms, third  line  of  this  Mantram )

To be continued  ....
