Chinmaya Mission : Hatu Sime Banga a Self Health Group is a family of Scheduled Tribe communities in a remote village in Balabhadrapur Khas Panchayat.  They have united to improve their livelihoods through poultry farming, goat rearing, fishing, and vegetable farming.  Each member earns between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per year.  Recently, they invested Rs. 3,60,000 to start a 1000-capacity broiler poultry farm with support from Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development Deuladiha and a 40% subsidy from the veterinary department of the Government of Odisha.  The Integrated Tribal Development Agency and district administration awarded them the Best Self Health Group award in 2022.  Their inspiring success story was featured on All India Radio Keonjhar on December 16th, 2022.  The group demonstrates the power of unity to achieve a common goal. ========================================================================= Friday, February 24, 2023. 07:00. Chinmaya Mission : The 12th edition of the Chinmaya Naada Bindu Festival '23 was led off with a warm inaugural ceremony on February 10th, 2023, by the hands of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda and Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar Ji. The event started with the release of "Ragakavya," a collection of Hindustani Classical compositions by Dr. Swapnil Chaphekar, and the "e-souvenir" of the festival.  On Day 1, at the inaugural ceremony,  the faculty of ‘School of Kalayoga’ gave a mesmerising performance followed by Dr. Swapnil Chaphekar's amazing rendition. The audience were soaked in the enchanting performance by Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar at the Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula, Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth, Pune. Day 2 had Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda blessing the audience with an intropsective and profound discourse on the meaning of Chinmaya Naada Bindu and the aspect of the Supreme, which is Naada Bindu Kalaateeta. Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) : The auspicious Maha Shivaratri night was celebrated in a grand way in the Illom, the maternal birth home of Sri Adi Sankaracharya.  The Chaturyama puja performed by Brahmachari Ved Chaitanya began at 7:00 PM IST on 18th February and culminated with the last Yama puja early the next morning at 5:30 AM IST, followed by prasada.  All present onsite reveled in the glory of Lord Shiva with the yama pujas, chanting and bhajans throughout the night.  Students of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth presented a dance as part of the shodashopachara puja and also participated in the chanting and bhajans.  Prior to the puja the Chinmaya Swayambhu Ayyappa Temple temple complex was lit with beautiful oil lamps with the offerings of Chuttu vilakku. ▶️Watch the Maha Shivaratri Puja: https://www.youtube.com/live/p4QoUTcQ6Ts?feature=share ========================================================================= Tuesday, February 21,  2023, 07:00.
