Mantram- 2.8.4:  iii) The ‘Joy’ of Celestial Gandharvas in Heaven:

te ye shatam maanushya -gandharvaanaam aanandaah = If one multiplies a hundred times this one unit of bliss of a human Gandharva,  

sah ekah deva  gandharvaanaam aanandah;  = it becomes one unit of the bliss of a Celestial Gandharva. 

shrotriyasya  cha akaama hatasya. = It is the same for one well versed in the Vedas, and free from desires.

The celestial Gandharva dwells in a heavenly abode, whereas the human Gandharva dwells on Earth. It implies a difference in the amount of merit earned by each one. The Divine Gandharva’s merits are far greater than the one living on Earth.
