te ye shatam deva- = If one multiplies a hundred times  

gandharvaanaam aanandaah = this one unit of bliss of a celestial Gandharva,  

sah ekah pitrnaam = it becomes one unit of the  

chiralokalok-aanaam aanandah; = bliss of Ancestors in Pitrloka. 

shrotriyasya =  It is the same for one well versed  in the Vedas, 

cha akaama hatasya. = and free from desires.
